It’s a beautiful Saturday afternoon, and here I am in Tom N Toms Coffee in Koreatown, sipping a sweet potato latte, thinking of amazing ideas to help spread this great feeling i’m experiencing to others. And bam! It hit me. For a little over a month now, I ‘ve been obsessed with the word “Coddiwomple.” It means to travel purposefully to a vague destination. My obsession led me to this great idea:
Send an amazing person to a vague destination with the sole purpose of experiencing something new. But who is this amazing person? Of course it’s you! Oh, but you need a little more information huh? And of course you want to know the catch. Okay, how’s this:
1. We promise the place we send you to won’t be anything like Chilligan’s Island from Martin, or like Jigsaw’s trap house on Saw. It will be a great place with fantastic energy and good people.
2. September 11, 12, 13 need to be open.
3. You will need an Instagram account, an open mind, and a positive attitude.
4. Passport Required will handle travel, lodging, and maybe even one meal.
That all sounds crazy easy, right? I mean, come on, who doesn’t have all those things? Okay, here’s a step-by-step guide on how to make this happen for you:
And don’t worry, it’s not a popularity contest where we see who has the most likes on their photo. It’s all about purpose, excitement, energy, and being amazing.
