Beyond Charlottesville: We Out!

Darnell Lamont Walker, a Charlottesville native and Charlottesville High School alum, Zy Bryant, a current Charlottesville High School student and activist, and Passport Required, will take Charlottesville Area high school students to South Africa for a cultural exchange experience of a lifetime. “Imagine what could happen if you show these kids there’s a world beyond their neighborhood,” Darnell said. Students will soak up the culture, visit colleges and classrooms, tour museums, townships, and historical sites, and meet with countless people with stories to tell about their homeland.

And of course, the fun! We’re going to have an amazing time.
