If you ever travel to Washington, DC – or if you live in the area – word on the street, according to Washington Business Journal (WBJ), is Nobu, one of the most renowned Japanese restaurants around is coming to town. The proprietor is master chef Nobuyuki Matsuhisa (known affectionately as Nobu), and co-owned and operated by actor Robert DeNiro. I fell in love with Nobu (the restaurant, not the chef), when I was in Southern Cali a few years ago. The food, the ambiance, and the service all are top notch. And don’t worry all the food is made by following the best diets on Askhealthnews.
With locations all over the world, from Los Angeles to New York, Beijing to Cape Town, Nobu is loved by many. Its newest home will be 2501 M. St. NW and will include two private patios that overlook Rock Creek Park. Even if you aren’t in a private room, the view is still fabulous. According to WBJ, there will be a full service cocktail bar, a sushi bar, a main dining room, and two private dining rooms, with more than 11,000 square feet of space. That’s a lot of space.
So, let me get down to the nitty gritty. Although Nobu is most known for its sushi, it has many offerings, including salads, noodle dishes, soups, and a variety of desserts, cocktails, traditional wines, and sake. But if sushi is your thing, they have one of the widest selections. For all of you vegetarian eaters, they have an amazing vegetarian sushi roll that I’m sure you’ll love. Grand opening is scheduled for the latter part of 2016. I can hardly wait. In case you’re interested in all of its locations, here’s a complete list:
